A glider pilot is in a critical condition in hospital after crash landing on an electric fence in Waikato.
The man crashed into a paddock where police were later called to and emergency services freed the man a couple of hours later and he was flown to a nearby hospital.
It is thought that the man received a shock from the electric fence and suffered burns and nerve damage to his neck and one side of his body.
